Do you only work with Shopify Plus, or standard Shopify too?
We specialise in Shopify Plus for established and scaling brands, but we work across all Shopify plans. If you're on standard Shopify and growing towards Plus, we can build with that migration path in mind from day one.
How long does a typical Shopify development project take?
A standard custom theme build typically runs 8-16 weeks from kick-off to launch, depending on complexity. Platform migrations from Magento or WooCommerce are usually 12-20 weeks given the data migration, redirect mapping, and QA involved. We'll give you a detailed timeline during scoping.
Can you work with our existing design team or in-house developers?
Absolutely. We regularly embed alongside in-house teams, whether that means taking designs from your creative agency and building them, pairing with your internal developers on a specific module, or running code reviews. We work in whatever model suits your team structure.
Do you build headless Shopify stores?
Yes. We build headless Shopify stores using Shopify's Hydrogen framework (Remix-based) or Next.js with the Storefront API, depending on your requirements. We're honest about when headless makes sense commercially and when a well-built Liquid theme will serve you better.
What happens after launch?
We offer ongoing development retainers for post-launch support, feature development, and platform maintenance. Several of our longest-standing client relationships started as project builds and transitioned into retainers. We can also provide an SLA-backed support contract if that's what your operations team needs.
