Senior Frontend Magento Developer - London (remote, full-time)

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with Adobe Commerce (Magento) experience and a focus on high quality and sustainable coding to join our team.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years commercial experience, ideally within ecommerce

  • Expert knowledge of the Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform and ecosystem

  • Deep knowledge of HTML5 including best practises, semantic knowledge, SEO pros and cons and accessibility

  • Strong CSS knowledge (Tailwind knowledge is a bonus!)

  • Rich JavaScript knowledge including ES6+

  • Some experience with php/phtml is desirable

  • Solid experience in converting design templates into HTML/CSS/JS using Luma or Hyva based themes

  • Understanding and implementation of responsive development for all devices

  • Cross Browser and Cross Device testing

  • Experience in presenting projects and solutions to stakeholders both internally and externally

  • Ability to work to within project deadlines and achieve targets in a timely manner

  • Ability to optimise their own code and review code from other developers in the team

  • Understanding of web performance metrics and optimisation techniques

  • Willingness to work closely with other teams in the business, including design, digital marketing etc

  • Working with the Account/Project Managers and the Development Managers, our Frontend Developer will need to be able to develop themes, templates, components and prototypes to match the requirements of the client. They will also need to work closely with other developers to ensure that all work is not developed in isolation and provide updates when required.

The ideal candidate would have a natural interest in the web, and web technologies, with a flair for aesthetics and design.
